Slide up the guard to reveal power button.
Press and hold power button to light electric arc.
Continue holding button while placing arc at the tip of the wick you are lighting.
Hold lighter at the tip of the wick for a few seconds until a consistent flame appears.
Remove lighter and remove finger from power button to extinguish electric arc. Slide guard back into place.

To charge, plug in the included USB charging cable to the base of the lighter. Lighter is fully charged when all 4 glowing circles are lit. When all 4 glowing circles are extinguished, the lighter should be charged again.

Warning: Do not touch the electric arc to anything other than candle wicks.

Recharge when necessary using the included USB charging cable.
